Sri Lankan authorities, on Monday, arrested three Maldivians during a drug operation in Dehiwala, Sri Lanka with four kilograms of heroin.
According to the Colombo Gazette, a Sri Lankan media outlet, three other men of unconfirmed nationality were apprehended along with the Maldivians.
Sri Lanka's Police Narcotics Bureau also confiscated two cars during the operation.
The suspects, aged between 26 and 28, will be presented before the Dehiwala Magistrate Court on Tuesday.
The confiscated haul of heroin has an estimated worth of RS 40 million.
