Maldives Immigration on Monday apprehended two immigrants with forged resident cards.
The two men, aged 21 and 29, were arrested at Velana International Airport (VIA) while trying to enter the country.
Immigration is yet to reveal the nationality of the individuals.
Last year, Immigration stopped several foreigners attempting to enter the country using counterfeit visa cards and passports of lookalikes.
