Minister of Defence Mariya Ahmed Didi, on Wednesday, inaugurated Maldives Immigration's new call centre.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Mariya stated that the call centre would bring several benefits to Maldivian citizens. She described convenient access to information provided by immigration for people in any region of Maldives as a 'good beginning'.
Controller of Maldives Immigration Mohamed Ahmed highlighted that they had previously received frequent complaints over difficulties faced due to the lack of a dedicated call centre. He reasoned that these concerns would be addressed by the newly opened call centre.
Customers can acquire all services extended by Immigration by contacting the call centre at 1434.
