President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, on Wednesday, visited the Ministry of Education, his first in a scheduled round of visits to all ministries, under a programme to improve the state's overall quality of service.
Addressing the ministry's staff, the president congratulated the education ministry for making great strides in fulfilling its duties over the past year, further commending them for their exceptional service.
President Solih emphasised the crucial role civil servants play in delivering public services and extended his gratitude for their continued support and assistance. He asserted that the administration’s pledges could only be achieved through civil servant's dedication and hard work.
Furthermore, the president highlighted the importance of solving challenges and went on to inform the staff about the state's ongoing efforts to restructure salaries and allowances of civil servants.
