Police arrested an expatriate in the early hours of Sunday over attempting to break into a store in capital Male' City.
According to Maldives Police Service, the 28-year-old Bangladeshi man was caught red-handed as he tried to break into a shop on the street Bodufungandu Magu at around 03:00 hours.
Police confirmed that nothing was stolen from the shop but did not disclose any further details.
