President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, on Thursday, appointed Hamid Shafeeu as the Chief Technology Officer at the President's Office.
Humbled.

That the Administration identifies technology as the driver for good governance and effective service delivery.
To bring government to people's fingertips and enable a richer dignified life for the citizenry using tech is the target.
Data is supreme. Let's try good.
Hamid's previously served from September 1998 till May 2007 as Manager of the Technical Services Unit and Chief Network Administrator in the Information Systems Section at the President's Office.
Creation of the role of Chief Technology Officer & appointment of the most capable person for the job is good news. It would fill the leadership vacuum of NCIT after the departure of Chief Executive Mr.Faig Umar & facilitate needed reforms. Congratulations @shafeeu.
