President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Thursday, visited the 'India Expo 2019' exhibition held at the convention centre 'Dharubaaruge'.
During his visit, the President spoke with representatives regarding the various products on exhibit. Over 40 Indian companies are showcasing their products at the fair.

The expo is organised by SME Entrepreneurs Federation of Maldives (SEFM) and allows Indian companies the opportunity to contribute, promote and diversify trade relations between the two countries.
In addition to President Solih, Minister of Tourism Ali Waheed, Minister of Economic and Trade Fayyaz Ismail, Minister of National Planning and Infrastructure Mohamed Aslam and Speaker of Parliament Mohamed Nasheed were in attendance.
