Maafushi-based Kaani Hotel Chain's Kaani Village and Spa was inducted into the TripAdvisor 'Hall of Fame'.
TripAdvisor bestows the honour on businesses that earn the website's Certificate of Excellence for five consecutive years.
Kaani has developed four hotels across the country and is currently preparing to open the country's largest tourist hotel, 'Kaani Palm Beach', featuring total 106 rooms, said Kaani Hotel and Tours' CEO Abdulla Nasheed.
The new hotel will feature an infinity pool, two restaurants, a spa, a saloon and a banquet hall that can accommodate 130 guests. It is scheduled to open its doors to visitors on February 1, 2020.
Kaani currently operates 'Kaani Beach Hotel', 'Kaani Grand Seaview', 'Kaani Lodge' and 'Kaani Village and Spa'.
Maafushi is the premier destination for local guesthouse tourism in central Kaafu Atoll.
