President Solih appoints new deputy commissioners to Customs

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, on Sunday, appointed two new Deputy Commissioners to Maldives Customs Service.

Abdulla Shareef and Mohamed Maniu received their papers and badges from Commissioner General of Customs Ahmed Noomaan, at an event held at Customs Headquarters.

Shareef has been working for the organisation for 27 years, while Maniu has been with the company for 16 years. The latter previously served at the police for 13 years.

Shareef held the position of senior superintendent prior to his new appointment. He holds a Master's Degree in Customs Administration.

Maniu’s last position was superintendent. He completed his Masters in Project Management and several other courses of different levels.
