The Residence Maldives at Dhigurah, on Saturday, commenced operations and welcomed its first guests.
The luxury resort located in Gaafu Alif Atoll has introduced discounted rates up to 40 percent as part of their opening offers. The resort has a total of 173 villas including beach villas and water villas.
The rooms at the resort showcase Maldivian architecture and are built spaciously to allow natural light to enter. There are 12 villas with pools at Dhigurah which are specialized for families.
Dhigurah is the second resort established in Maldives by Cenizaro Hotels and Resorts. The collection's first resort, the Residence Maldives at Falhumaafushi, is connected to Dhigurah via a bridge.
Director of Cenizaro Hotels and Resorts Gary Xie stated that the Residence Maldives at Dhigurah would allow guests access to experiences from Maldives and worldwide destinations. He also highlighted that Dhigurah was a prime location for snorkelling.
Cenizaro Hotels and Resorts is an international property and hospitality company that manages luxury resorts in destinations such as Mauritius and Tunis and Zanzibar.
