Foreign Secretary Abdul Ghafoor Mohamed, on Monday, participated in the Preparatory Senior Officials Meeting for the 14th Session of the Islamic Summit Conference.
The meeting held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, was attended by member states of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
During the meeting, top diplomats of OIC deliberated on the content of the draft final communiqué of the summit, the Makkah Declaration, and the Draft Resolution on the Cause of Palestine and Al-Quds Ash-Sharif
Additionally, the Foreign Ministers Meeting of OIC is scheduled for May 29, ahead of the 14th session of OIC's Islamic Summit Conference slated for May 31 in the city of Mecca.
The Foreign Secretary was accompanied by Assistant Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Salman Zaki.
