Police arrested a 19-year-old man alleged to have sexually abused two minors on Saturday, during a 'walk of shame', in reclaimed suburb Hulhumale'.
According to a Police Spokesperson, they received a report at roughly 0100 hrs on Saturday, of a man abusing a six-year-old and an eight-year-old, during the course of four days.
Police detained the man, following a tip that an individual was being attacked and paraded around in a 'walk of shame'.
The young man was subsequently arrested approximately 0300 hrs under a court order.
A video was circulating on social media, depicting the man confessing to his actions. In the video, the man states that one boy had been scratched by fingernails and hit by a bolster pillow.
