Ministry of Education on Tuesday, announced a public tender for the procurement of 12,500 500-millilitre bottles of hand wash, for the state's 'School Wash Programme'.
According to an announcement published on the government gazette, the bidding process will conclude on June 9, at 1100 hrs.

National Emergency Operations Centre recently stated that under the 'new normal' amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, schools will commence no earlier than June 14.
Although the date is not yet finalized, Minister of Education Dr Aishath Ali assured schooling will resume once the administration can guarantee the safety of students.
The closure of schools, universities and training facilities was one of the first measures implemented by the government after declaring a state of public health emergency on March 12.
At present, educational institutions across the country remain closed.
