Bank of Maldives (BML) is set to host the 35th Asian Bankers Association (ABA) General Meeting and Conference in Kurumba Maldives on November 15 and 16.
The ABA conference will be the first international banking event of this scale held in Maldives and will be attended by over 100 participants from 25 countries. The heads of some of Asia’s most prominent financial institutions will partake in the conference to discuss banking developments in the region.
While the conference will be themed “Banking in Asia – the Next Frontier”, there will be a specific focus on the need to maintain the financial sector’s stability and integrity despite rapid technological progress.
Bank of Maldives is the largest financial institution in the Maldives and manages a thorough system of branches, relationship managers, self-service banking centres, ATMs and point of sale merchants.
BML is also a technology leader, being the first Maldivian bank to offer advanced digital banking services. Currently, 9 out of 10 BML transactions occur online.
