Ooredoo has launched its 2024 calendar, introducing a new gaming experience called "Atholhu Dhuvun".

Renowned for integrating technology into its annual calendars, Ooredoo has incorporated an "endless runner" game, enabling players to run from the north of the Maldives to the south. Participants can engage in the game by scanning QR codes found in the calendar.

The game is designed to unlock a new level every month. Additionally, players will be able to access a bonus level by finding and scanning secret artworks on the calendar.

There are a total of 12 levels, and each level of the game allows players to travel to a new town. The game is linked to the famous Ooredoo advertisement "Hassanah Phoneh" (A call for Hassan), featuring the character "Raai" from the advertisement.

The game featured on the Ooredoo calendar is created by Loopcraft, a local company.

Minister for Language, History, and Culture, Adam Naseer, praised Ooredoo's commitment to enhancing the technical skills of Maldivians. He emphasized the game's role in providing information about the islands and establishing connections.

Ooredoo's Managing Director and CEO, Khalid Al Hamadi, emphasized the calendar's role in promoting youth and technology. He highlighted that the game is the result of the efforts by local youth.

Loopcraft CEO Mohamed Shamheel expressed efforts to create a user-friendly game that captures the joy and unity associated with Ooredoo.

Launched by Minister Adam Naseer, the 2024 calendar, dedicated to botany and agriculture, features an augmented reality (AR) component. Ooredoo continues its tradition of releasing diverse calendars, with this year's edition focusing on the fusion of technology and nature.
