Maldives' National Centre for the Arts finalised the panel of judges for the ninth installment of the Dhivehi Film Awards.
All seven judges are prominent figures in the local film industry and have attained formal education in the sector or another relevant field.
Producer and Director Mohamed Niyaz (Tedry), who possesses 33 years of experience in the film industry, and Aminath Najeeb, the Director of the film 'Fuhtaru', are on the panel.
The remaining judges are Shareef Ali, Ahmed Ahusan, Aminath Eenas, Fathmath Leeza and Ooredoo Public Relations Manager Noora Ibrahim Zahir.
A total of twelve feature films and short films released between 2017-2018 were submitted for the Dhivehi Film Awards.
