Dhiraagu launches 'Football Eid' campaign

Dhiraagu has launched several new promotions under the 'Football Eid' campaign for the Euro 2024 beginning on Saturday. The company has also introduced offers to their fiber broadband, postpaid and prepaid customers as well.

Dhiraagu has launched their 'Football Eid' campaign on occasion of the UEFA European Football Championship slated to begin this Saturday.

Speaking at the press conference held at Dhiraagu head office to launch this campaign, Manager of Marketing Communications at Dhiraagu, Hassan Sharih Adam stated that the company had prioritized the incorporation of a method to easily watch Euro 2024 matches within their special offers targeting Euro customers. He said that in order to arrange useful offers for the customers, they had made several efforts to establish a partnership with Sony LIV.

The offer introduced under this campaign to live stream matches of the Euro Championships through Sony LIV, the official streaming partner of Euro includes a subscription to Sony LIV premium and a data package of 80GB for MVR 80 as well as a MVR 60 offer including only a Sony LIV subscription.

This subscription remains valid for one month and with a premium Sony LIV subscription, customers will be able to live stream the matches on their phone as well as additional devices such iPads.

Sharih stated that new customers who seek the company's services this month and the next with a prepaid plan will be offered a free Sony LIV package for 30 days. The company also stated that all new postpaid customers will be offered a free Sony LIV package for that month and the next as well.

Manager of Customer Value Management at Dhiraagu, Aishath Ishana stated during the press conference held today that in consideration of high amounts of data consumed during match hours for viewing the tournament and posting updates on social media, a special offer named 'Match Pass' targeting ongoing match hours has also been included in this campaign. Under this offer, customers can choose a 30GB data package for MVR 30 during an ongoing match. This offers are extended for all Dhiraagu customers.

Sharih added during the conference that the 'Jehee Libuny' promotion introduced by Dhiraagu during the World Cup is also set to be continued during this tournament due to high customer demands and requests. This promotion can be joined through the mobile app after selecting the customer's best team. Under this promotion, customers will be offered 1GB data for a one day duration once the team selected by the customer scores a goal. This offer will be valid up to five goals.

Sharih said that the chosen team cannot be changed after joining the promotion and revealed that all the offers will be available through the Dhiraagu app starting tomorrow.

During this conference, Dhiraagu had also shared their offers introduced on occasion of the upcoming Ei-Al-Adha holidays. These offers include:

- Upgraded 100GB Date Package: During Eid holidays, prepaid customers will be offered an extra 50GB with the 7 day 100 GB package. A total of 150GB can be taken through this pack without an extra charge. This offer is set to expire on June 22.

- Postpaid and Fiber Broadband Data boost: Dhiraagu postpaid and fiber broadband customers will be offered additional data with designated boosters, free of charge under this offer. This offer will be valid until the end of the month.
