Fuvahmulah City Council has announced a decision to lease land from the city's harbour area to be used for tourism projects, appealing to interested parties to send in proposals.

The council stated that land for tourism related use would be leased through sale of bid documents, prices at USD 100.
Bidding is open to all, and will be accepted from today until 13:00 hrs on September 11.
Fuvahmulah is a popular tourism destination. The city has around 10 diving schools currently in operation, and have frequent visits from safari boats on diving trips.
