HDC has announced their search for a contractor to build 10 residential towers of more than 14 storeys on the land north of the Hiyaa Flats in Hulhumale' Phase 2.
Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has announced a search for contractors interested in assuming a project to build 10 residential towers of 14 storeys and higher in Hulhumale' Phase 2.
HDC has now extended the window to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) for those interested in the project.
The announcement released by the company details that the project involves building mixed use residential towers equipped with parking spaces and business lots as well as areas for other general services in addition to residential areas.
The project which is set to commence after selling a large portion of the land north to the Hiyaa Flats in Phase 2 will be awarded to the party who submits the best proposal and bids, said HDC.
Details of the land plot disclosed with the announcement state that the project will be undertaken on 10 land plots measuring between 9,000 square feet and 15,100 square feet. The contractor is tasked with building six towers of 14 storeys, two towers of 15 storeys and two towers of 20 storeys on the land.
A deadline for submitting the EOI has not yet been announced.
Moreover, HDC has also opened the window to submit EOIs to construct commercial buildings in Phase 2 today. These four-storey buildings will also be constructed on the northside of Phase 2 with the lands allocated for the project measuring between 4,000 square feet and 11,015 square feet.
