Mӧvenpick Hotels and Resorts, a well-known Swiss owned hotel chain, has established its first-ever resort in Maldives at Kuredhivaru Island, Noonu Atoll.
According to the official website, Mövenpick Resort Kuredhivaru features a total of 105 rooms with 72 overwater villas, 30 beach pool suites and three beach spa pool residences.
For wellness oriented holiday-goers, Mövenpick Resort Kuredhivaru offers a yoga studio, a gymnasium, a sports centre and a spa with 14 private rooms.
In addition to the array of gourmet offerings on the menu, all four restaurants and a café on the resort will serve Mӧvenpick coffee, chocolate and ice-cream.
Mӧvenpick hopes that the resort will be popular among their brand-loyal customers and plans to develop further facilities are already in motion.
The resort also includes a marine research centre, a private yacht marina, a high-class beach spa and a dive centre.
Mövenpick Resort Kuredhivaru is only the latest addition to the growing number of luxury resorts in Noonu Atoll, finding itself in the company of high-end properties such as Cheval Blanc Randeli, Velaa Private Island, Soneva Jani, and Robinson Club Maldives.
Mӧvenpick Hotels and Resorts have resorts in 23 countries across Asia, Europe and Africa.
