Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), in alliance with Save The Beach and Hulhumale' Fishermen's Association, has held a special event today to clean up the beaches in Hulhumale' Phase 2.
Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), in alliance with Save The Beach and Hulhumale' Fishermen's Association, has held a special event today to clean up the beaches in Hulhumale' Phase 2.
MTCC Managing Director Ahmed Saudi and Deputy Managing Director Hassan Mughni joined over 100 of their staff in this clean up event.
The event, titled 'Suzuki Beach Clean' saw the collection of 426 kg of trash from the beach in Hulhumale' Phase 2.
The company said that this activity falls under their CSR initiatives to work for the protection of environment.
MTCC has held similar events previously as well.
