President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih criticizes global powers on Monday for not following through on the pledges made in 2015 to provide USD 1 billion in aid for vulnerable and developing nations that will face the consequences of climate change.

While giving his address in the UN Climate Conference (COP26) in Glasgow, Scotland, he stated that the world will only be saved from the effects of climate change only if all nations worked together for this goal.
