Three individuals arrested for an incident of group violence on Wednesday have been remanded in custody.
No persons were injured during the altercation that happened outside Cibo Cafe' on late Wednesday afternoon. Police arrested three men aged 18, 22, and 24, from the scene of the fight.
Criminal Court placed one of the accused on a five day remand. The remaining two will be held in remand for a period of ten days.
As per the police statement to the court, the two men given the ten day remand period already have existing criminal records.
The court order stated that the reason for placing the three accused on remand is that they could be a danger to society.
As seen on a video circulation on social media, a large number of police were present at the scene of the fight. Viewers can also see two suspects attempting and failing to flee from the police.
