India gifted 30,000 doses of Measles vaccine to Maldives.
Speaking at a press conference, Minister of Health Abdulla Ameen stated that the aid from India will reach Maldives by Thursday.
He added that this aid was given to the programe initiated by the Maldivian government to vaccine 200,000 people.
Minister Ameen noted that thus far, 3,100 individuals were vaccinated for measles.
Additionally, till date, out of over 70 people tested for the deadly disease, four of them were positive.
