Former Health Ministry officials face charges with ambulance procurement corruption

The state has charged former officials from the Ministry of Health for allegedly facilitating corruption in the procurement of ambulances back in 2020.

The state has charged several former Health Ministry officials with allegedly facilitating corruption in the procurement of ambulances for the country.

The accused individuals allegedly violated a procurement announcement made by the Ministry in February 2019 for diesel ambulances, instead awarding the contract to a private firm that supplied petrol run ambulances.
