British High Commissioner to the Maldives Caron Rohsler has on Tuesday met with seven out of eight outgoing Chevening scholars.
Chevening Scholarships, established in 1983, are fully funded scholarships offered by the UK to pursue one year master's degrees, funded by Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and partner organisations.
"Was so impressed by these young Maldivians. I am sure they will make a fantastic contribution to Maldives' development in all sorts of ways. It's a pleasure to have the opportunity to help shape their learning and to welcome them into the Chevening fold," High Commissioner Rohsler said on an Instagram post.
