Club WAMCO has won the game between two local teams at the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) Club Volleyball Championship 2024.

WAMCO had an easy win against Police Club last night in three straight sets at scores of 25-15, 25-18 and 25-20.

This game marked the second performance observed from both teams during this championship currently ongoing at Social Center's indoor court with both teams winning in their first matches.

During the opening match of the tournament, WAMCO had secured victory against Sri Lankan Air Force in three straight sets at a score of 3-1. Meanwhile, Police club had also bested Tajikistan's VC Diamond in three straight sets during their first match held after the tournament's opening ceremony on Sunday night.

WAMCO, with their win in the Volleyball Association Cup held earlier this year, has now claimed the champion's trophy four times in a row. The team had secured each win after competing with Police Club in the finals.

Additional matches of the championship held on Monday saw Nepal Police Club claiming victory over Sri Lankan Air Force in three straight at scores of 25-26, 25-20 and 25-21 during their game in the afternoon.

Meanwhile, Uzbekistan's Humo VC secured a decisive victory against Tajikistan's VC Diamond in their match held yesterday evening, winning all three sets with scores of 25-11, 25-20, and 25-12.

Three more matches are scheduled for today in the tournament. The afternoon will feature a clash between Nepal Police Club and Tajikistan's VC Diamond, followed by an evening match between WAMCO and Humo VC. The final match of the day will see Sri Lanka's Air Force Club face off against WAMCO tonight.

The top two teams, after competing against all six participating teams during the league rounds, will advance to the finals. The teams finishing in third and fourth place will compete for the bronze medal, while the remaining two teams will face off in a ranking match to determine their final standings.
