MTCC awarded projects worth MVR 266 million in 4 islands

The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has been awarded projects worth over MVR 266 million to be implemented in four islands. The projects comprise land reclamation initiatives in Noonu atoll Maafaru and Faafu atoll Bileddhoo, as well as harbour upgrading projects in Raa atoll Meedhoo and Lhaviyani atoll Hinnavaru.

The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has been awarded projects worth over MVR 266 million to be implemented in four islands. The projects comprise land reclamation initiatives in Noonu atoll Maafaru and Faafu atoll Bileddhoo, as well as harbour upgrading projects in Raa atoll Meedhoo and Lhaviyani atoll Hinnavaru.

The agreements to award these projects were officially signed at a ceremony held in the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure on Thursday, August 3. Director General of the planning ministry, Shaanaa Farooq, signed the agreement on behalf of the ministry, while CEO of MTCC, Adam Azim signed the agreement on behalf of the company.
