Heavy rains result in flooding and damage across the country

In the ongoing heavy rains and thunderstorms, some islands have fared worse than others, with extensive flooding and damage caused to many residences.

National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said that southern, central and northern islands have reported damages due to rain.
