Students that had to discontinue studies can reapply for loans: Minister

The Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Ibrahim Ali Hassan, announced on Thursday that 120 students who had to discontinue their studies for various reasons after receiving student loans now have another opportunity to reapply.

Speaking at the weekly press briefing held by the President's Office every Thursday, Dr. Hassan said that among the students who took out loans, there were many who had to drop out for reasons outside their control or their will. A set of rules has been framed on how these students will be allowed to apply for loans again.
