The body of Adam Athhar will be brought back to the Maldives after conducting an autopsy in India. Athhar's funeral is scheduled to be held tonight.
Athhar died in hospital while receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit in Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital after an attempt to take his own life while in custody at Dhoonidhoo prison. He had been arrested for holding a woman hostage at knifepoint.
