Two teams from Super Untied Sports Academy are set to participate in an international competition being held in Thailand.
They are set to participate in Thailand's Chiang Mai international Football Festival scheduled to be held from December 4 to 12.
SUS Academy's team won third place in the La Liga Youth Tournament in Malaysia this July in the under 16 category.
In the competition in Thailand, SUS Academy's Under 12 team and Under 14 team will both be playing.
Most of the players of the Under 14 team are those that won the championship in 2022's FAM Under 12 Youth League.
A team with these players had also won the championship in the Under 13 category in last year's Inter School Tournament.
SUS Academy Head Coach Fareed Mohamed also expressed confidence in the team, saying he has high hopes in them.
"The hope is to bring the trophy of an international academy competition to Maldives," he said.
