ALIA has decided to host its 10th annual Blood Donation Camp on June 13 at Maagiri Hotel. Public participation is encouraged to donate blood and offer a convenient platform for potential new donors with this camp.
ALIA Investments has decided to host its 10th Blood Camp on June 13.
This annual campaign hosted by ALIA is set to take place in Maagiri Hotel this coming Saturday.
This camp, which is held by ALIA in collaboration with Maldives Blood Service will accept blood donations from 0900 hrs in the morning until 1800 hrs in the evening.
ALIA said that this annual camp, which is also open to the public, aims to encourage people to donate blood and offer a convenient platform for potential donors.
Several healthcare workers will also be active at the camp in order to provide required medical services during the event, said ALIA.
The company added that the camp encourages nurturing of a community that is driven with care and compassion, further expressing hope that patients in need of blood transfusions can easily access the blood they require as a result of the camp.
The camp also features board game activities, similar to past years.
Many employees of ALIA also typically donate blood during the camp.
