A joint delegation of FIFA and AFC will arrive in the Maldives to assess issues that have come to light in the run-up to the FAM election. The delegation will meet with the clubs and government agencies during their visit.

A joint team from FIFA and AFC will be sent to the Maldives to identify the issues that have come to light in the run-up to the Football Association of Maldives (FAM) election.
This was conveyed to FAM in a letter sent by FIFA and the AFC instructing to postpone the elections, which were previously scheduled for April 20.
