Zeenad appointed as Managing Director of HDFC

Ahmed Zeenad has been appointed as the Managing Director of Housing Development Financing Corporation (HDFC).

Zeenad previously filled the position of Managing Director at SME Development Finance Corporation (SDFC) since its establishment in 2019 by the previous administration. He played a key role in building up SDFC to work in developing small businesses.

He served at SDFC for a period of 5 years.

Zeenad holds a Masters in Finance from Australia's Curtin University. He also previously worked in senior positions at the Bank of Maldives and Maldives Finance Leasing Company (MFLC).
