India has signed three agreements with the Maldives.
During the official visit of India's External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar to the Maldives, the two countries signed a MVR 100 million grant agreement for high impact community development, under which a sports complex will be constructed in Gaafu Dhaalu Gadhdhoo, and an agreement of assistance and cooperation between the Maldives National University and Cochin University of India.
India had also made a donation of two sea ambulances yesterday.
Jaishankar arrived in the Maldives to officially inaugurate the Hanimaadhoo Airport Development Project.
During the current administration, India has provided a large number of assistance to the Maldives.
