Local telecom giant, Dhiraagu, has been recognized and commended for their contributions to the Maldives tourism industry.
Maldives government and Maldives Association of Tourism Industry (MATI) celebrated the telecom provider's consistent support to the tourism industry. The company's contributions were recognized during the Golden Jubilee celebratory event held on Monday evening, at Kurumba Maldives.
Dhiraagu received "President's Gold Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Development of Tourism in the Maldives" at the hands of Maldives President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih. MATI graced Dhiraagu with "Tourism's 50 Years" award to the company at the same event.
Speaking about the double recognition, Dhiraagu had expressed gratitude to the Maldives government. The company reiterated on their commitment to stay consistent in its efforts to contribute to the industry.
