Local construction industry entrepreneur Ali Fauzy has been appointed as the Honorary Consul of Russia to the Maldives.
Ali Fauzy is the Managing Director of Steel Hardware, a prominent construction business in the Maldives.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid presented the letter of appointment to Ali Fauzy at a ceremony held on Tuesday, July 18.
During the event, Minister Shahid extended his congratulations to Fauzy and engaged in discussions on enhancing the bilateral relations between the Maldives and Russia.
