MAPS College and Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) have signed an agreement whereby MACL staff can undertake courses at the college at a discounted rate.
The agreement was signed by Vice Rector - Administrative Affairs of MAPS College Aiminath Abdul Wahid and Deputy Managing Director of MACL Ibrahim Thoha.
MAPS College shared that under the agreement, MACL staff will be eligible to undertake advanced certificate courses, the university preparation programme, as well as Masters level courses of the University of Bedfordshire under discounted rates.
MACL DMD Thoha said that the agreement would increase productivity amongst staff, as well as providing easier access to further education and training, regardless of age of applicants.
Aiminath Abdul Wahid said that the college's intention in joining efforts of the kind is to build skilled workers for the fields and offer those in the community better prospects in the workforce.
