MAPS college to host blood donation camp on Saturday

MAPS college, in collaboration with Maldivian Blood Services (MBS), has organised a blood donation camp on Saturday, June 24th.

MAPS college has stated that the blood donation camp aims to promote a culture of blood donation and raise awareness among the public and students. The primary goal of the camp is to provide support to those with Thalassemia and individuals who require blood transfusions.

MAPS college's blood donation camp, organized as part of their CSR initiative, will be held on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Maldives Blood Services. The camp is open to both regular blood donors and individuals who are new to blood donation, providing an opportunity for everyone to contribute to the cause.

Prioritizing the health and safety of the volunteers, Maldivian Blood Services will conduct health inspections on all new blood donors prior to donation.

According to MAPS college such CSR programs are aimed to cultivate social responsibility and leadership qualities among the students and encourage them to become proactive contributors to the society in the future.

This is the first blood donation camp organized by MAPS college in collaboration with Maldivian Blood Services.
