MAPS College hosts 2023 Graduation Ceremony

MAPS College has concluded its 2023 Graduation Ceremony on Saturday evening, June 03.

The graduates include students who completed 40 courses in seven different fields ranging from certificate level to Bachelor’s Degree received their graduation certificate.

The course fields include UK Association of Business Executive (ABE) and University of Bedfordshire affiliated Bachelors of Business Administration, along with Masters of Business Administration, Masters of Business (Finance), and Masters of Business (Hospital and Health Services Management).

During the graduation ceremony, Vice Rector Fathimath Rasheedha highlighted the college's commitment to offering comprehensive academic opportunities to students. She emphasized the institution's ongoing efforts to cultivate discipline, responsibility, and capability among its graduates as they embark on their professional careers.

She added that MAPS College will soon be announcing new academic courses, although specific details were not provided at the time.

The Minister of Higher Education Dr. Ibrahim Hassan had acknowledged MAPS College’s role in building an academic youth for a prospective future. He also encouraged the graduates to become responsible citizens in the society.

In addition to presenting graduation certificates, top-achieving students were recognized and awarded for their outstanding achievements at the ceremony. Furthermore, individuals who have made significant contributions to the college in various capacities were also honored and presented with awards.

MAPS College has recently established an Alumni Association to foster ongoing camaraderie among its graduates.

MAPS College was established in 1999, and since then has become one of the reputed tertiary academic institutions in the Maldives.
