The government of Maldives has condemned Israel's attack on Al-Aqsa mosque.
Armed troops of the Israeli military had incited violence against Palestinian worshippers at the mosque; which is regarded as one of the three most sacred sites of worship for Muslims.
Israeli officers who barged into the premises had also detained several of Palestinians during the attack.
Maldives Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a publicized statement claimed that Israel's conduct was in clear breach of the United Nation's Secretary Council's regulations and was in violation of international laws.
Furthermore, the Maldivian government claimed that the continued atrocities by Israeli military will undermine and hinder any attempts of brokering peace in the Middle-East.
Moreover, the Maldivian government assured continued support to Palestine and its people in their attempt to establish a sovereign and independent government.
