The third property in Crossroads Maldives, developed by the top French hospitality group Accor, is scheduled to open in November 2023.
The 80-villa property, the third addition at Crossroads Maldives in Emboodhoo lagoon, is being developed through the partnership of S Hotels & Resorts with Wai Eco World Developer (WEWD) and Accor. Currently, SAii Lagoon Maldives and Hard Rock Maldives operate at the first fully integrated tourist resort in the Maldives.
The newest addition to Crossroads Maldives was developed on a budget of USD 60 million (MVR 925 million) and is envisioned as a top-tier private island, catering to honeymooners seeking peaceful rest and relaxation, as well as families with the hotel's three-bedroom villas.
SO/ Maldives is the ninth property in their Maldivian property portfolio which includes notable hotels such as Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi, Pullman Maldives, Raffles Maldives and Angsana Velavaru among others.
France-originated Accor is one of the largest hospitality conglomerates in Europe and sixth largest in the world right now and operates a staggering 5,100 hotels in 110 countries worldwide.
