In a post on X, Male' City Council reported that boards installed in Sultan Park were vandalized sometime last night. The council stated that they are collaborating with the police to apprehend the perpetrators.
Photos attached to the post show advisory posters for children and cautionary sign boards for protection against Covid-19 that had been removed from their place and thrown on the ground.

It remains unclear whether any individual has been arrested so far for vandalizing the signboards of the park, which has multiple CCTV cameras installed within and around its premises.
