The world renowned religious scholar Ismail ibn Musa Menk (Mufti Menk), is scheduled to visit Maldives.
Sharing a photo with Mufti Menk, Islamic Minister Dr. Ahmed Zahir tweeted that Mufti Menk will visit Maldives from October 28 to 31.
No further details about the trip has been revealed so far.
Mufti Menk last visited the country in 2020. The trip took place in Haa Dhaalu atoll Kulhudhuffushi. Prior to that, he had visited Maldives in 2016 and 2015, and gave religious talks on various topics, which were well received by the public.
Mufti, who travels around the world to give lectures on Islam and religious issues, is the head of the fatwa department in his native Zimbabwe. He has also gained worldwide fame in the field.
