Maldivian stated that these flights will commence from October 29 this year.
From then on, there will be scheduled flights from Gan, Addu to Kooddoo on every Tuesday and Kooddoo to Gan, Addu on every Saturday.
Addu to Kooddoo: Every Tuesday 11'55 hrs
Kooddoo to Addu: Every Saturday 17:30 hrs
The airline said that these flights are an initiative led through collaboration with Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, MMPRC, and Ministry of Tourism under this administration's policy of expanding tourism to the Southern islands.
Maldivian said that the introduction of this new sector of flights to the Southern atolls would provide ease of travel not for locals alone, but also for tourists wishing to travel in-country.
Bookings are open from April 4 and can be made through the airline's website, mobile application or through visiting one of their ticketing offices.
