No political bias in providing services to the people: President

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu said that he is committed to providing services to all the people of the Maldives without any political bias during his official visit to Thoddoo, as part of his tour of Alifu Alifu and Kaafu atolls.

Thoddoo council is the 170th council he has met as part of his pledge to visit all islands in the country.

Speaking to the resident of Thoddoo, President Muizzu assured that the government's priority is to provide all necessary assistance. He also highlighted the establishment of a local authority company in Thoddoo, promising to support its efforts to generate profits for the council's needs without any political bias.

key initiatives for Thoddoo in 2025:

- Road development

- Expansion of health center services, space, and facilities

- Increase school space and facilities for one session teaching

While some of these projects could not begin this year due to the budget passed by the previous government, President Muizzu said that 2025 would be dedicated to fulfilling the promises he made during his presidential campaign, including harbors, schools, sports facilities, waste management, and school repairs.

The President will next visit Rasdhoo and meet with the councils of both Rasdhoo and Ukulhas.

Later this evening, the President will travel to Mathiveri to meet with its island council, as well as WDC representatives from Himandhoo, Maalhos, Feridhoo, and Bodufolhudhoo.

Tomorrow, President Muizzu will visit Kaafu Atoll, where he is scheduled to meet with the island councils and WDCs of Gaafaru, Huraa, and Himmafushi, according to the President's Office.
