President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has denounced the shooting attack on former US President Donald Trump.
Trump was speaking at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania yesterday when a gunman opened fire on him from a rooftop.
At the rally, Trump, 78, put his hand to his right ear as multiple shots rang out. He was seen clutching his ear, with blood visible on his cheek.
He ducked to the floor as Secret Service agents swarmed onto the podium, surrounding him and escorting him hurriedly off the stage to a nearby vehicle. Trump did not sustain further injuries in the attack.
