A three-year-old Maldivian child died on Friday, after falling out of the 21st storey of a high-rise building in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
According to local media reports, the child's family resides in Kuala Lumpur.
Maldivian Embassy in Malaysia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have yet to release an official statement over the matter.
Approximately 2,300 Maldivians reside in Malaysia for education and various other reasons.
Malaysia is a famous vacation destination among Maldivians during the year-end holidays.
