Milaidhoo Island Maldives has clinched victory in the Baa Zone finals of Dhiraagu Tekkers Resort Futsal Cup 2024.
Milaidhoo secured the third consecutive victory in the zone after closing the finals against Nautilus Maldives at a score of 3-1.
Milaidhoo's Ali Naseer has been selected the best player of the final match alongside the entire tournament.
The Baa Zone tournaments, hosted at Royal Island Resort, saw participation from five resorts- Royal Island, Nautilus Maldives, Dusit Thani Maldives, Soneva Fushi, and Milaidhoo.
The top five players from the Baa Zone are Mohamed Rafhan and Adam Naseer from the Milaidhoo team, Ahmed Sabah and Mohamed Siman from the Nautilus team, and Abdul Majeed from the Dusit Thani team.
The title of Top Scorer was awarded to Ahmed Sabah from the Nautilus team, who tallied a total of eight goals during the tournament. Mohamed Solah from the Milaidhoo team was named Best Coach for the Baa Zone, while Soneva Fushi received the Fair Play award.
Meanwhile, the Raa Zone matches of the Tekkers Resort Cup are scheduled to commence on September 3.
